What is 'Wordless Wednesday'?
Here, I extracted the definition :
On Wednesdays all over the internet, bloggers post a photograph with no words to explain it on their blog. Hence the ‘wordless’ title. The idea is that the photo itself says so much that it doesn’t need any description.
'Wordless Wednesday' annoys me. Although sometimes it is hard to explain a photo that you choose to post and share, I think, you should at least try to describe it. What it meant for you, what happened, anything at all. If you don't want to write anything, you don't have to write 'Wordless Wednesday" as the title.
The thought of everyone choose to follow other bloggers to post a picture on Wednesday, just because everyone is doing so and they do not intend to write anything else because 'today is Wednesday, it is a wordless Wednesday so I don't have to explain why I chose that picture and it is acceptable because everyone is doing so'.
Sometimes they will just post something for the sake of the "Wordless Wednesday". Why can't they use tumblr instead? Just post any pictures on any day and no one is going to feel disturbed by looking at everyday's wordless pictures. No?
Even so, I just chose not to wander around any blog on Wednesday because of 'Wordless Wednesday'.
Problem solved.
